My front-page story about Keith Lockhart and his eventful journey to the Boston Pops, with which institution he celebrates his 20th anniversary in a spring season that starts tonight (May 6) with a swanky concert featuring Bernadette Peters.
My record for hitting the front page of the Globe with BSO-engaged conductors remains perfect, since my first A-1 placement as a writer, published last September and evidently never posted on this blog, was a breezy snapshot of Andris Nelsons arriving to commence his tour of duty.
Hopefully, I won't have cause to extend this particular streak any time soon.
