The Son also rises.

SonOfNightAfterNight

Not that you were worried, but yes, Son of Night After Night, the Tumblr I launched during my most recent blogging hiatus, is still active, and I think I'm getting a sense of how I want to continue to use it. Over here, you'll see links to my work for The New York Times and Time Out New York, along with bonus-track commentaries; original essays, reviews and news blurts; and the occasional back-catalog item.

Meanwhile, over there I'll be posting quick-hit items suited to the platform: mostly Soundcloud, YouTube and Vimeo embeds related to artists and albums that interest me.

When I relaunched this blog, I transplanted the playlists back here from the Tumblr. But given that the lists actually stirred up a bit of interest over there, I'm going to post them at both locations from now on. The pages aren't linked for content-sharing, so the redundancy should only be an issue on social-media platforms—and lord knows my friends and followers have been an infinitely patient lot in that respect.
